AERO 2022 — The Leading Show for General Aviation

AERO is an exhibition of global importance. This year’s event is dedicated to the resumption of work after and during the pandemic. The number of registered exhibitors is already at an excellent level compared to the record AERO 2019 exhibition.

Roland Bosch, AERO Division manager and member of the executive board of Messe Friedrichshafen, says: «AERO 2022 will probably be the most important event in history. After the cancellation of two events due to the pandemic, the GA industry meeting is of great importance.» AERO project manager Tobias Bretzel from fairnamic GmbH adds: «The number of registered exhibitors has already equaled the record of AERO 2019, with all the major market leaders already registered. The quality and quantity are selected correctly. Numerous innovations and world novelties have already been announced.»

The Friedrichshafen Trade Fair provides an ideal opportunity to deepen existing contacts and establish new business contacts, thereby strengthening supply chain.

Personal contact with pilots and aircraft owners is extremely important for manufacturers and dealers when it comes to products that require intensive consultation, such as aircraft, aircraft components and accessories. The exhibition offers potential buyers a comprehensive overview of the assortment and the opportunity to clarify open questions directly from manufacturers and dealers.

The future of general aviation will take a big place at AERO 2022. The topics of electric flights, environmentally friendly fuels (SAF, PtL), urban air mobility and unmanned aerial vehicles will be widely covered among the exhibitors and their products and services, as well as in the conference program of the exhibition. The AERO Sustainable Aviation Trail will direct visitors to AERO exhibitors and public events that are especially dedicated to the topic of sustainable development in aviation.

Despite the fact that many airline pilots are currently unemployed, the industry nevertheless faces a shortage of qualified service personnel. Not only large, but also small and medium-sized maintenance companies and aviation service providers are looking for qualified personnel. For those who are interested, AERO is an event where the most important companies in the industry can be found in one place.
